Welcome to the Ghana Telecom University College News Room, a resource centre for all our stakeholders to access news and information about the University, its activities and programmes.

 

Media Policies & Contact

In a bid to enhance the relationship between GTUC and the media, the university regularly extends invitations to the media to participate in most of its important events ranging from key ceremonies to sporting events. Such media invitations are extended by the office of University & International Relations.

Besides, GTUC assists the media with information that help to advance the understanding of the university and its programmes.

Because GTUC is a private/public institution we would prefer that members of the media secure approval and assistance of the GTUC office of U&IR before coming on campus to photograph, record or interview faculty, staff, student or guests of the university.

The policy is aimed at helping the university conduct its business in an orderly and effective manner while protecting the rights and privacy of its people.

Members of the media are also requested to contact the office of U&IRO with requests to interview members of the university community for official comment on pressing issues. This will not only expedite response to such request but will also ensure that the right information is being obtained.
