Congratulations to Our Graduates!
38 graduands of the Graduate School were conferred with master’s degrees for the 2010-2011 academic year. The graduands were made up of the following:

In his report to congregation, Dr. Osei Darkwa, President, GTUC, stated that the university continues to attract students from various countries around the world and mentioned that this year 194 international students were admitted to pursue various programmes at the university.
On collaboration with Coventry University, Dr. Darkwa stated that GTUC would continue to explore new opportunities with Coventry University and hoped to introduce new programmes at both the undergraduate and doctoral levels early next year.
Dr. Darkwa added that research and contribution to knowledge and national development was what defined academic institutions and therefore the university was strengthening its existing research structures to meet industry demand.
In his keynote address, the Executive Chair of Teacher Education in sub-Saharan Africa, Prof. Jophus Anamuah-Mensah admonished tertiary institutions to get involved in community engagements in their bid to assist such communities to meet their needs and improve on the lives of the people.
Prof. Anamuah-Mensah added that the problem of unemployment could be solved if young people could practically utilize their acquired knowledge through initiatives of their own in order to create employment for themselves and many others.
Awards were presented to graduands who had distinguished themselves in their chosen fields of study.
