The Graduate School at Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) offers unique opportunities for innovative education and research. The Graduate School was founded in November 2006 to meet the increasing demand for highly educated engineering, information technology and management graduates. Though relatively young, GTUC Graduate School has grown beyond expectations and has won praise from industry and government leaders as the “school of the 21st century”. Since its inception, the School has increased the student body to approximately 1,500 students as a result of quality of graduate programs administered which is reflected in the recognition received by its students.
We offer diverse curricula that nurture creative thinking and prepare students for productive and rewarding careers. Among these are our postgraduate degree programs in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering Project Management, Management Information Systems, Telecommunication Engineering/Management, Information and Communication Technology and Management and Oil and Gas Management. The Graduate School also offers PhD degree programs in Telecom Engineering and Technology and Information Management. The uniqueness of GTUC Graduate School is the mutually-beneficial strategic partnerships the University has established with international universities with outstanding reputation as leaders in teaching and research excellence. GTUC has established academic partnership with Coventry University, University of Hertfordshire and Staffordshire University (UK), Aalborg University (Denmark), Wildau Institute of Technology and Hochschule Anhalt (Germany), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (South Korea) and Southern Polytechnic State University and Goodwin College (USA) to offer the Graduate programmes that meet international standards which make our graduates employable on the international job market.
In seeking to facilitate the training and graduation of leaders who will be instrumental in making significant contributions to their fields of expertise in particular and the world-community in general, our long-term plan calls for establishing eminence in key areas of Engineering, Management and Information Technology. The Graduate School therefore thrives within the domains of information technology, blending our expertise and innovation to tackle the challenges of the 21st century. As technology changes, the Graduate School responds by creating new disciplines, examples of which include our Masters and PhD programmes listed above.
The faculty and staff in the GTUC Graduate School are dedicated to providing first-rate education that instills strong knowledge for sound practice in science, engineering and management for the well-being of society.
